Booktalk: Doing gymnastics, Ágnes Keleti feels free-until the day her coach tells her there’s a brand new regulation in Hungary barring Jewish athletes from the gymnasium. As soon as Germany sends troopers into Budapest, they’re not possible to disregard and Ágnes hatches a plan. With identification papers from a Christian girl, she goes into hiding in a small farming village. She does house responsibilities for a household who help the Nazis, however she by no means stops dreaming of the day she’s going to be capable of compete on the Olympics.
